To help one live the end of life, it's important to understand a patient's lifestyle, family dynamic, social support network,

interests, and other circumstances. Proximity to the locations, settings, and people that have shaped a life now in its end stage allows our hospice teams to maximize enjoyment of the final months. Understanding and appreciating these variables also allows hospice teams to better provide crucial emotional and spiritual support to families experiencing loss.

Because Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. has more than 30 years' experience providing care for generations of community members, you likely know a family that has benefited from our brand of tailored care. And since 75% of our team lives within the community it serves, you might even have a friend or neighbor who has administered that care.

Our hospice teams include, doctors, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, spiritual care providers, and volunteers who live and work within Orange and Sullivan counties, but equally important are the staff and volunteers who match those teams with the families that need them and who are responsible for the organization's day-to-day operation.

While other hospice care providers may attempt to extend their care beyond their immediate market, those who manage that care – compassionate as it is – do so from outside the fringe communities where care is provided.

Both Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc.'s management offices and Kaplan Family Hospice Residence are located in Newburgh, NY, and we provide care in our local nursing homes and hospitals, making our organization a part of life – and end of life – in our region for more than three decades.
