First and foremost we thank our staff who continue to provide the care and services needed during this difficult time. They are nothing less than Hospice Heroes to our organization and the communities we serve.

 

 

The leadership of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties is closely monitoring the rapidly evolving developments relating to the Coronavirus.

Our highest priority is the health and well-being of our patients and staff.  Our Mission to provide patients and families with compassionate end of life care remains paramount during this crisis. We continue to provide community care and have expanded hours to accept referrals to meet the need for hospice services. For added convenience you can make a referral online through our website.

The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence continues to care for our patients. Currently visitation has been revised to keep our patients, families and staff protected. We appreciate your understanding and ask for you to please call before your visit. Click link for updated information.

 

We are aware of bereavement needs in our communities and currently offer online grief encouragement on our website and will be offering online bereavement support groups soon.  Clink link below.

 

 

Unfortunately our families who are dealing with the loss of a loved one, are also having to deal with new guidelines for Funeral Services and Memorials. We understand it is a very difficult time and we are working with our families to support them in these challenges.  Due to these suspended services, our Memorial Donation Envelopes are not accessible to family and friends.  Please consider making your  memorial donation online.  We will send an acknowledgement to the family letting them know of your donation.
