VA provides Training for Vietnam Veterans receiving End of Life Care

In collaboration with the Hudson Valley Veterans Partnership, members of the Veterans Administration will present specialized training for staff caring for Vietnam Veterans at the end of life.

This training will focus on and how-to best care for Vietnam Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Moral Injury, Suicide Prevention and how to understand and provide the best care for these Veterans at the end of life.

Training will take place on May 29, 2019 and will be held at the administrative offices of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY. Staff from Skilled Nursing Facilities who contract with Hospice were invited to attend.
