Friends of Hospice In Bloom Luncheon Annual Spring Event

This years Friends of Hospice Spring Event is In Bloom Spring Luncheon, on Thursday,April 11, 2019.  The event will be held at the beautiful Blu Point on the Hudson, 120 Front St, Newburgh, NY  from 12:00 pm  – 2:00 pm. The cost is $40 per person with a cash bar. 

This year’s program will be“Container Gardening 101” presented by Joe Gizzarelli, owner of Devitt’s Nursery and Supply.

Friends of Hospice began in 2008 and their mission is to reach out to inform our communities
about Hospice Services and the importance of end of life care. Through friend and fundraisers
they connect with others to advance the good works of Hospice and are able to support programs and family needs. Friends of Hospice financially helps to support The Children’s Grieving Center and Camp Chrysalis, both are free bereavement support programs for children who have lost a loved one, as well as provide sheets and mattress pads for patients in need receiving hospice care at home.  Friends also supplies tote bags for families at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence and is also called on at other times to assist the organization in other ways.
