Another Successful Hospice Golf Classic
Newburgh, NY – Despite the rain out on August 13th, the rescheduled Twelfth Annual Hospice Golf Classic was one of the most well-attended in years! 110 men and women took to the green on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Powelton Club to benefit Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. A barbecue lunch was served out on the lawn before golf followed by a delicious awards dinner to round out the day!
Committee Chair, Glen L. Heller, Esq., along with Hospice Golf Committee, Denise Freeman, Greg Goldstein, Paul Hoffner, Joann Menendez, Derrick Saunders, Tim Scannell, Alan Seidman, Maggie Smith, Richard Ostner and Thomas P. Sullivan put together an outstanding outing that included a Hole in One chance to win a Cadillac from Barton Chevrolet Cadillac. New Special Events Director, Maggie Sutter, reported that the efforts of the Golf Committee netted $75,800 to help ensure the continuation of hospice services in our communities.
