JEFF Bank Diamond Sponsor for Forestburgh 5K Run/Walk

George Kinne, Jr, President and CEO of Jeff Bank, hands a check to Janice Valentino, Director of Marketing and Development for Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, as the Diamond Sponsor of the 11^th Annual Forestburgh 5K Run/Walk.  This year’s race goal is to raise $20,000 to support the work of Hospice in Sullivan County.

Tax deductible sponsorships and donations can be made to support this worthy cause.  Donors can go to hospiceoforange.com , click on the Forstburgh 5K logo on the left  and click on Forestburgh5K Donations.  Completing the form is easy but it is necessary to put the words “Forestburgh 5K” in the ‘Additional Information/Other’ box.  All sponsors and donors will be listed on the forestburgh5K.com website and in the Hospice Focus magazine.

The 5K Race/Walk is Saturday, August12, 2017, at 8:30 AM, at Lake Joseph Road in Forestburgh.  The course in on paved and unpaved roads and is certified by the USATF (#NY12129JG).  Entry Forms can be printed from the website, forestburgh5K.com.  The cost is $18 prior to the event and $20 on the day of the race.  Medals will be given in ten age categories and to overall male and female winners.   The first 150 registered racers will get an 11^th anniversary t-shirt on the day of the event.

Jeff Bank has been serving Sullivan County banking needs for more than 100 years and has been the major sponsor of the Forestburgh 5K Run/Walk since its beginning.  This is the largest fund raiser for Hospice services in Sullivan County.   Hospice provides support for individuals in the final stages of life so they can live as fully and comfortably as possible.
