Hospice Golf Classic a Success
Newburgh, NY – Ninety golfers took to the green on Monday, August 14, 2017 at The Powelton Club for the Eleventh Annual Golf Classic to benefit Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. The overcast skies and the coolness of the day made it perfect golfing weather. Lunch out on the lawn and a delicious awards dinner rounded out the day nicely.
Committee Chairman, Glen L. Heller, Esq. along with the Hospice Golf Committee, Denise Freeman, Greg Goldstein, Paul Hoffner, Joann Menendez, Derrick Saunders, Tim Scannell, Alan Seidman, Maggie Smith, and Thomas P. Sullivan put together an outing that included a Hole in One chance to win a Cadillac from Barton Chevrolet Cadillac. Special Events Director, Gloria Alisandrella, reported that the efforts of the Golf Committee netted an all-time record high of $78,500 to help ensure hospice services in our communities.
Thank you to our major sponsors: The Kaplan Family Foundations, Construction Contractors, and Fabricators & Erectors Assn’s of the Hudson Valley, Dana Distributors, First Federal Savings of Middletown, Mobile Life Support Services, and Unidine Corporation.
