Hospice Announces New Vice President and COO

Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. is pleased to announce and welcome Sandra Cassese RN, MSN, CNS as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Sandra is responsible for the daily operations of the organization. She formally held the position of System Vice President of Oncology at Health Quest Hospital System.

Sandra brings over thirty two years of healthcare and management experience with a background that includes Clinical Operations, Strategic Planning, Program Development
and Business and Regulatory Compliance among other areas of expertise.

Ms. Cassese earned her Nursing Diploma from The Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree
in Nursing from The State University of New York at New Paltz, and a Master’s degree in Community Health
from Sage Graduate School.

Sandra has been volunteering with the American Cancer Society for more than 25 years and currently holds the position of Vice Chair of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network National Board of Directors and is a member of the Society’s New York City Area Board.
