FORESTBURGH 5K ATTRACTS LOCAL RUNNERS & WALKERS

 IMG_4561July 27, 2016:   The Forestburgh 5K Race/Walk on Saturday, August 20, 2016 is attracting local runners as well as walkers and family groups.    The event, run on a paved and unpaved course, is certified by the USATF and offers professional timing services.   The first 150 registrants are guaranteed a race t-shirt.   Awards are given in ten brackets from age 10 to 80 & over.  Medals will also be given to the top three overall male and female finishers.

This family-friendly event, at 8:30 AM at Lake Joseph in Forestburgh, is conducted entirely by community volunteers who also raise the funds to benefit Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.  Registration is $18 before the race and $20 on the day of the race.  Printable Entry Forms and Race Facts are available at:  www.forestburgh5K.com.
