Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued its star rating report and Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties is officially a 5-star rated organization. The 5-star rating is a direct result of the satisfaction expressed by caregivers of our patients regarding the quality of care provided by Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, as measured through Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) surveys. The CAHPS Hospice Survey is designed to be a consumer-friendly, easy-to-understand, and straightforward way to compare providers using a star system, with 5-stars being the highest rating. Results are calculated and publicly reported every other quarter.
