Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties strives to be the leading community resource for providing patients and families with compassionate physical, emotional and spiritual end of life care with comfort, dignity and respect.
Our “Hearts for Hospice Care” campaign has been created to raise awareness and funds for patients and their families who are in need of hospice services. The heart of this campaign is to be a supporter and friend to a person at the end of life. The campaign will run through the entire month of February and March with the help from all of you. The “Hearts for Hospice Care” campaign is important because it allows people to not only donate money but also offers the opportunity to donate their time.
The goal of this year’s campaign is to raise $10,000, which will go toward our goal of providing a positive and comfortable experience to end-of-life care. The proceeds raised will ensure hospice care services continue for those in need in our local communities across Orange and Sullivan Counties.
Hospice offers various areas of volunteering within the organization. Volunteers are important members of the hospice team providing support to persons on hospice and their family either at home, nursing home or at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. Volunteers can also provide office support at both Newburgh and Middletown locations.
We are asking you to help support a person at the end of life by making a donation today or by considering becoming a Hospice Volunteer. Hospice Volunteer Spring Training begins on April 9, 2017.
Whether you donate time or money, your donation will instantly make a difference in the lives and hearts of Hospice patients and their families. Thank you in advanced for giving a heart for hospice care by your donation of either time or treasure.
