The Annual Frank Kimler Memorial Poker Run will be held this year on Sunday, August 23, 2009.  This is a 70 mile run (rain or shine) with proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society Pancreatic Research Fund, the Shawangunk Correctional Employee Benefit Fund and HOSPICEof Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc.  FRANK KIMLER LEGACY PROGRAM.

Last years 2008 event raised $16,000 with $10,000 going to HOSPICE.  The legacy program is a permanent presentation of your life story through the use of video/audio recording or scrapbook and has grown since its inception four years ago.  Registration is at the Wallkill/Shawangunk Correctional Club House on Birch Road in Wallkill, New York from 9 am-11 am.   Continental breakfast served at registration, after the run there will be a chicken B-B-Q. Beer - Wine - Soda and live music.
